THE BRAIN EATERS
.  It was released by
American International
to promote the release of the movie in 1958.  This is not a reprint nor a reproduction.   The movie stars
Ed Nelson. Alan Jay Factor, Cornelius Keefe, Joanna Lee, Jody Factor, and Leonard Nimoy (spelled Nemoy in the credits).
It was directed by Bruno Ve Sota.
The Artwork for the poster is by Albert Kallis.
This unrestored movie poster is Rolled and measures 14" x 36", called an Insert poster.
This original movie poster is graded C8, Very Fine.  Original movie posters are graded as follows from the top down: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), C4 (Good), etc.   This original movie poster is ready for immediate display and will make a superb appearance.
Additional Description of Condition/Grade:
We took photos of most of the flaws we
described
above so please review the photos carefully.  The only real flaw in the image area - those squiggly lines/indentations - at the top of the poster are in Photo No. 8; hard to see them.  We also noted
several
faint creases in the poster in the image area but only saw them in our photos, not by close inspection.  The
Nikon
Macro camera we used highlighted some of these faint
creases,
but they are - to us - totally unobtrusive or not noticeable at all, under normal viewing.  So, the majority of flaws all occur along the border.
These border flaws can be greatly alleviated with proper framing and backing of the poster. If we were to give just the borders a grade, it would be C7 Fine/Very Fine or so.  The main image would receive a C8.5 Very Fine to Near Mint grade from us. And since the main image is much more
important
, we gave the overall poster a C8 Very Fine.
There is also writing on the reverse "
8419
" in black but it does not bleed through to the front of the poster.
That said, we attempt to give you - the potential buyer - as much description and as many photos (12) that we can so that you can come to your own decision as to grade and condition, coupled with our interpretation.

has excellent value and investment value.  Most original movie posters from the incredible two decades of the 1950s and 1960s with its sci-fi and horror movies are almost always in high demand from fans and collectors alike.  Being an Insert poster, we feel it may be a tad rarer than its' companion One Sheet (27" x 41"), but not necessarily more valuable than the One Sheet. The Main image is in excellent plus condition which we believe increases its vale and investment value.
