    This vintage original 1953 movie window card (14” x 22”) for one of the all-time classic movies, “Roman Holiday”, starring
    Gregory Peck, Audrey Hepburn, Eddie Albert, Hartley Power, Harcourt Williams, and Margaret Rawlings. The 1953 Paramount romantic comedy was directed by William Wyler. This beautiful, iconic movie poster is something that all movie poster collectors and fans would love to have!!
    Audrey Hepburn was catapulted into stardom by her role as a princess out to see Rome on her own. Audrey won the Best Actress Academy Award and the film also won two other Oscars for costume design by Edith Head and story by Dalton Trumbo (who later ended up on the Hollywood blacklist of the 1950’s for alleged Communist sympathies). In addition, the film was nominated for Best Picture, William Wyler was nominated for Best Director and Eddie Albert was nominated for Best Supporting Actor.
    The film was met with critical acclaim, and is now considered a classic.
