Abbott and Costello made a series of films in which they encountered the monsters of classic Universal horror films of the 1930s and 40s. In this outing, made in 1951, they meet The Invisible Man, a character made famous by Claude Rains in the 1933 movie THE INVISIBLE MAN. That was one of the greatest horror films of that storied decade. Here the action is pleasant enough and a few laughs occur. Abbott and Costello try to help a boxer accused of murdering his manager. This poster was used in a theater and the native condition was very good, with some tears and small holes. It has been expertly linen-backed and presents beautifully.
